The unit is chamber-tested at -35 °C for 48 hours under real operation — positioning and communication verified throughout. We also test it ourselves, outdoors, all winter.
Does it need power?
No. No wiring, no power source. A lithium-thionyl chloride cell lasts years at one report per day. You fit it and forget it.
What if my equipment sleeps six months a year?
You put it on seasonal standby at $4 a month instead of full price. Theft alerts stay on. One click to reactivate in spring.
Where is my data hosted?
In Canada. Geolocation tied to an operator is personal information under Law 25 — nothing leaves the country, and you can export everything whenever you want.
How long am I committed for?
